REFERRAL SERVICES
Following a capacity diagnosis, the CADRI Partnership’s prioritization and planning service provides national and other relevant stakeholders with an action plan to strengthen disaster and climate management capacities. The action plan could include the implementation of national and sector-specific capacity development programs, the acceleration of policy and institutional changes such as enhanced risk information systems and communication strategies, and increasing focus and coherence in UN country programs. Implementation of these actions requires effective and efficient use of available resources, but may also require an increase in existing capacities, including the search for new funding options.
To support the implementation of the actions recommended as a result of the Capacity Diagnosis, the CADRI Partnership provides countries with access to customizable referral services, including good practices that build on CADRI Partners’ country experiences and guidance on partnership development and resource mobilization to identify and access funding and technical assistance by third parties.
